Our Mission

Project MedKit aims to increase preparation in densely populated low-income communities in the face of emergencies through teaching and distribution of prehospital medical equipment.​

Our Motive

During the first minutes during a medical emergency it is critical and essential to provide the right care to prevent escalation. Speeding up emergency response can prevent deaths and accelerate recovery dramatically. This is notably true for heart failure, drowning, traumas and respiratory issues. With the increased arrival time for professional medical services to arrive on scene in rural and densely populated areas, it is essential that the people are equipped with the proper education and medical equipment needed to respond quickly and effectively

Projects Overview

Through our yearly project we hope to continue the distribution of medical kits and quick cards to schools in low-income communities and increase the overall medical preparedness in those areas.

First Project

Through our first project we prepared and distributed medical kits equipped with life saving equipment used during various prehospital medical emergencies to stores in downtown Wilmington.

Second Project

Through our second project we hope to continue the distribution of medical kits and quick cards to schools in low-income communities. We hope to further increase our contribution by providing blood control.

About Project MedKit

Project MedKit is a non profit organization that aims to supply schools and high populated areas in rural India and America with an inclusive emergency medical kit and a short course on emergency response to staff and students in order to promote preparedness in times of medical emergencies.

Each year countless lives are lost due to lack of prehospital medical care and delayed arrival of medical services.
We educate and prepare our youth with basic life saving skills and kits to be ready to respond in these situations.
